Hong Kong actor-singer Ekin Cheng proved he still has what it takes to get fans screaming.

The 59-year-old recently held a fan meet in Hong Kong, where he performed several of his classic songs and interacted with fans through a series of games.

As reported by China Press, during one of the games, Cheng took off his jacket to demonstrate how to put on the newly unveiled fan-club windbreaker, revealing a black sleeveless top and his toned arms in the process.

The unexpected reveal sent fans screaming.

“Don’t scream just yet. Watch how I put it on. This is a game, and there’s a grand prize,” he joked.

As the fan meet was held just a day before his birthday, naturally there was a birthday cake-cutting segment.

Here, it was revealed that the Million-Follower Detective actor usually only sings the last line of the birthday song.

“The most important thing is to keep it concise,” he explained with a laugh.

Later when a fan from China called out for Cheng to speak Mandarin, the actor responded tactfully, explaining that the entire event had been filmed and would later be uploaded online with subtitles.

He suggested that the fan could watch it again once it was posted.

Clips from the event have since circulated online, with many praising Cheng for handling the request gracefully.

According to the China Press report, some netizens also pointed out that Mandarin has never been Cheng’s strongest language, making the request for him to speak it throughout the event somewhat challenging.

However, much of the online attention remained focused on Cheng’s appearance, with fans praising the star for looking fit and youthful at 59.
